About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.

Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to each child's education.

Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, promoting professional development and teamwork.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom that reflects the values of The Goddard School.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Implement health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all students.

Requirements:

State certification or license in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.

Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum standards.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
