Lead Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards, New York, NY Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Toddlers are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and social skills. You'll create a structured and engaging classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom

Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum

Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration

Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development

Encourage independence and developing self-help skills

Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions

Maintain positive classroom guidance and consistent routines

Observe children's development and maintain required documentation

Build strong relationships with families

Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers

Follow applicable New York City childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education required

Previous professional toddler or early childhood education experience strongly preferred

Lead classroom experience preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Patient, energetic, nurturing, and dependable

Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements
