Location: Manassas City, VA Pay: $17–$19 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our toddler classroom is an exciting, energetic space where children begin building independence, language skills, and social-emotional foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the toddler classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Plan and implement engaging daily activities that support language development, early learning, and hands-on exploration.

Model positive behavior and guide assistant teachers to ensure consistency and quality.

Support toddler routines such as meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest time.

Communicate daily with families about progress, milestones, and classroom experiences.

Ensure compliance with Virginia licensing standards and center policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.

Previous toddler classroom or childcare experience is required.

Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.

CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.
