About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher – Toddlers (2½–3 Year Old's) to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports early learning and growth.
The ideal candidate is a confident classroom leader who enjoys working with toddlers and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and foundational learning skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities for toddlers (2½–3 years old).
Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Manage daily routines including meals, transitions, rest time, and classroom activities.
Observe, document, and assess developmental milestones and progress.
Communicate regularly with families regarding child development and classroom updates.
Supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff.
Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred).
Experience working with toddlers (2–3 years old) in a childcare or preschool setting required.
Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing toddler curriculum and learning activities.
Strong classroom management and positive guidance techniques.
Ability to build a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
