    Beach City Builders, Inc is looking for a Lead Woodshop Manager.

    The main objective is to produce products in a safe, high quality, productive, and profitable manner using cabinet shop machines and processes. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate an attention to accuracy and detail, a sense of urgency and a high level of commitment. The manager is also expected to drive continuous improvement by implementing fresh insights into woodshop process efficiencies and adopting industry best practices.

    Essential Responsibilities The role requires a combination of hands-on technical work, design collaboration, and management oversight:

    Machine Operation & Maintenance:

    Setting up and running CNC (Laguna Smartshop 2 Elite, running Mozaik Software), boring and doweling machines, and other specialty machines for custom cabinetry.

    Setting up the machine quickly to create parts that meet quality standards.

    Tool changing, ordering supplies, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the CNC machine.

    Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

    Meeting weekly productivity requirements.

    Design & Production Flow:

    Working with the design team to incorporate schematics into ready-to-build shop drawings.

    Management & Costing:

    Management and oversight of woodshop inventory, purchases, and job costing.

    Assisting other areas or departments as necessary.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    To be considered for the role, a candidate must meet the following:

    Technical Skills

    Mozaik Cabinet Software experience required.

    Ability to read and interpret cabinet designs, blueprints, and bill-of-materials.

    Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.

    Physical & General | Must be 18 or older.

    Ability to lift 50 lbs. (repeatedly).

    Must be able to handle high-value and high-quality products with care.

    Experience

    Ability to demonstrate command of the cabinet operation tools and provide at least 3 significant work references, including clients.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    Candidates with the following are preferred and will likely be strong contenders:

    Experience: More than five years of experience in a similar position.

    Specific Equipment: Experience with the CNC Laguna SmartShop 2 Elite, running Mozaik Software, or other specialty machines.

    Industry Knowledge:

    Deep Industry Knowledge and comprehensive knowledge of wood fabrication concepts and methods.

    Experience in the wood product manufacturing industry, specifically cabinetry.

    Knowledge of materials (composite wood panels, laminates and veneers, solid wood, and acrylics).

    Aptitude: Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Salary Range: $75,000 to $93,600 based on verified experience.

    Job Type: Full-time.
