Position Overview Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young children? Adventures in Learning is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher to join our dynamic team.
We seek an energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable individual who is patient, compassionate, and friendly. The ideal candidate should be a positive team player with excellent communication skills. This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Build Strong Relationships: Develop nurturing bonds with children and their parents.
Maintain Classroom Hygiene: Ensure a clean and healthy environment, following proper hygiene and diapering procedures, and disinfecting protocols.
Stimulate Growth and Development: As part of your role, you'll help create a vibrant, engaging learning atmosphere by developing monthly lesson plans filled with fun art projects and special activities that spark curiosity and joy. You’ll also take pride in maintaining inviting and thoughtful monthly bulletin boards that reflect the theme of the month — celebrating children’s achievements and adding a special touch to our shared space.
Professional Development: Complete at least 10 hours of annual training, provided by our center and participate in quarterly teacher's in service days.
Certification: Must be CPR and First Aid certified (training provided).
Ideal Candidate
Experience: Previous classroom experience in childcare or preschool settings is required.
Passion for Teaching: Love for children and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
Professionalism: Reliable with a professional demeanor.
Creativity: Ability to creatively transform the classroom to reflect seasons and holidays
