Position Overview

As a Lead Teacher, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, create a safe and engaging classroom environment, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child in your care.

Shifts Available: AM or PM Classroom Placement: Pre-K or Infant/Toddler (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Lead classroom activities aligned with early learning standards

Create and maintain daily routines and structure

Build strong relationships with children and families

Observe, assess, and document children's progress

Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment

Supervise Assistant Teachers and classroom aides

Communicate effectively with parents and coworkers

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements

Requirements

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (2-year degree) in Early Childhood Education or a related field

At least 2 years of experience working with children in a licensed childcare or educational setting

Strong classroom management and leadership skills

Must be at least 18 years old

Must obtain or provide the following clearances:

FBI Fingerprinting

PA Child Abuse Clearance

PA Criminal Background Check
