Job Description

Overview: 

We are looking for a seasoned, product-minded business development executive to lead the adoption of our new Amplify Product, a B2B buyer intelligence platform. The role will define and execute go-to-market strategy, conduct early adopter customer discovery, and support our sales team in generating early-stage revenue. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop a strategy to commercialize products, including collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring cross-functional buy-in.  
• Outbound outreach to prospective customers
• Networking with influencers thought leaders and market makers
• External and internal evangelism on the product line
• Coordination with and support the sales team to close deals
• Coordination with the product team to deliver pilots and ensure customer satisfaction and positive feedback
• Customer discovery and market research for pilot programs
• Pricing and business modeling
• Forecasting and performance analytics
• Help establish requirements for account management and customer success for early customers.  Establish longer-term strategies for maximizing customer retention.

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of sales and business development experience; ideally with a startup that delivered hypergrowth with a B2B SaaS product
• Expert-level experience with B2B sales, marketing and digital media
• Proven experience in leading customer discovery for B2B software launches
• Experience growing new enterprise tech product lines from the ground up to scalable, sustainable businesses
• Bachelor degree or higher in a related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Preference for fast paced environment
• High tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty
• Highly collaborative and works well with cross-functional teams
