Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned, product-minded business development executive to lead the adoption of our new Amplify Product, a B2B buyer intelligence platform. The role will define and execute go-to-market strategy, conduct early adopter customer discovery, and support our sales team in generating early-stage revenue.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop a strategy to commercialize products, including collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring cross-functional buy-in.
- Outbound outreach to prospective customers
- Networking with influencers thought leaders and market makers
- External and internal evangelism on the product line
- Coordination with and support the sales team to close deals
- Coordination with the product team to deliver pilots and ensure customer satisfaction and positive feedback
- Customer discovery and market research for pilot programs
- Pricing and business modeling
- Forecasting and performance analytics
- Help establish requirements for account management and customer success for early customers. Establish longer-term strategies for maximizing customer retention.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of sales and business development experience; ideally with a startup that delivered hypergrowth with a B2B SaaS product
- Expert-level experience with B2B sales, marketing and digital media
- Proven experience in leading customer discovery for B2B software launches
- Experience growing new enterprise tech product lines from the ground up to scalable, sustainable businesses
- Bachelor degree or higher in a related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Preference for fast paced environment
- High tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty
- Highly collaborative and works well with cross-functional teams
