    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Lead a team in the development and deployment of corporate systems in a DevOps environment
    • Make/direct architectural decisions as new services are deployed to align with an overall cloud strategy
    • Mentor team on best practices, develop/create/maintain scripts, perform code reviews, and provide support for the platform and applications on it (i.e. troubleshooting environment issues)

    SPECIFICATIONS

    Required

    • Must come from an application development background.
    • Must have solid experience and understanding of the following technologies:
      • AWS (all definition and configuration through Terraform)
        • Lambda function development to perform administrative automation tasks
        • Route 53 setup/management via Terraform
        • PostgreSQL serverless DB maintenance and administration
        • EC2, autoscaling, and launch configurations
        • ELBs/ALBs
      • Terraform - Creation, maintenance, and review of
      • Python
      • Best practices and principles of CI/CD pipelines
      • Cloud Logging solutions (sumo logic, Splunk, ELK)

    Highly Preferred

    • Terraform
    • Gitlab (git for revision control of infrastructure as code and for CI/CD pipelines)
