Personal/Professional Assistant
A local small business owner is looking for a personal assistant to help with tasks within the company and in the home. The company is focused on working with children and so a love for children is a must. The business owner also has 2 children of her own. The position is part-time and has some flexibility with hours. It is a new position that has the opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities for Personal Assistant
Perform household tasks as requested by the employer. Examples include running errands, pick-up children from school, shopping, etc.
Make phone calls as necessary, both personal and business
Support company social media postings
Event planning for company sponsored events
Produce events fliers and monthly activity calendars for the company
Manage paperwork as needed
Record notes and messages for the employer
Schedule and arrange meetings and conferences
Perform as a liaison between the employer and household as needed
Act as the first point of contact for the employer as necessary
Read and write correspondence in mail or email form
Perform other tasks as requested
Qualifications for Personal Assistant
Proficient in computer technology especially Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and social skills
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Follows instructions clearly and accurately within a timely fashion
Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results
Able to sit, walk, stand for long hours at a time
