Description:

This position is responsible for the trim, bond, and assembly of details into composite parts in accordance with work instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hand route, saw, deburr, trim and drill composite parts to tooling, work instructions, and/or customer requirements.
• Ability to use small hand tools safely such as, but not limited to: sanders, rivet guns, routers, calipers, gauges, and adhesive applicators.
• Consistently and accurately measures, weighs, and mixes various resins and bonding components for application to details and parts.
• Works with small detail parts to install onto composite parts.
• Responsible for ensuring product meets quality requirements and specifications before moving to the next work center.
• Ability to cross train into various other positions.
• Learns and performs hand layouts.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, blue prints, and mylars.
• Correctly documents relevant data for material traceability purposes.
• Communicates effectively and professionally to team members.
• Works under the direction of a lead or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
