As a budtender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, educating customers on different strains and products, and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. You will also handle cash transactions, inventory management, and store maintenance. To be a successful budtender, you should have a passion for cannabis, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a willingness to learn and grow. A high school diploma or equivalent.

THE ROLE:

Leafy NYC is currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our retail location in the heart of Chelsea NYC. Essential Functions / Responsibilities
· Greet patrons and process all merchandise transactions.
· Maintain knowledge of products and prices.
· Ensure lines are managed while maintaining enthusiasm and poise.
· Receive, process, and replenish merchandise inventory.
· Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues, and support a positive work environment.
General Qualifications
· Previous retail experience preferred.
· Minimum 18 years of age; 21 preferred.
· Strong basic math skills required.
· Be able to engage with customers, team members, and management positively.
· Maintain enthusiasm, charisma, and focus.
· Strong organizational and communication skills required.
Working Conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and safely install display elements.
• Ability to maneuver stairs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
