We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Irrigation Technician

    Monitor and test new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.

    Conduct and record detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.

    Program and maintain controllers.

    Manage both public water and well-driven systems.

    Train new crew to use equipment and apply best practices.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS of the Irrigation Technician

    Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's License.

    Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends.

    Snow season is a requirement for this position.

    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS of the Irrigation Technician

    Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials

    The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.

    Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT of the Irrigation Technician

    The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.

    The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
