Job Description
This is an opportunity to represent a family-owned company (and industry leader) as an independent sales representative. Pay is performance-based, straight commission. Top industry commission rates paid out monthly based upon shipments.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has to experience in handling and building a commission-based book of business
- Has experience building relationships
- Has the ability to build rapport quickly
- Has some knowledge of marketing in stores and the build-up of planograms
- Has no problem building relationships with potential customers
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Call on and service existing established retail stores within assigned territory.
- Open new accounts
- Grow business territory.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Must be goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales success
- Passion for people and developing sales relationships
- Have or create a separate email to use
- Own cell phone, iPad, and reliable transportation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
