    CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION:  We have an immediate need for a part-time Junior Bookkeeper for a great company in the Irvine area! Perfect for accounting professional who enjoys a great work culture and relaxed office environment.

    PREFERRED SCHEDULE: 10-15 hours a week (Flexible schedule between the hours of 9AM- 5PM during the week)  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: Invoice Review for appropriate documentation and approval, invoice matching, assist with the audit process, work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor statements
    • ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: Generate invoices and bill clients, post incoming payments, follow up on past due accounts and reconcile aging 
    • Developing strong relationships with the operations group, assigned vendors & client and other internal departments in order to assist with projects as needed

     

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • 2+ years of recent bookkeeping experience (AP/AR) and knowledge of debits & Credits
    • Accounting Degree or some advanced accounting college courses a plus but not required
    • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software 
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Must be proficient in MS Office, Outlook and Intermediate Excel
    • Excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor
