    Specialty Systems Interim Technicians are responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). Our job site professionals thrive under self-directed management to complete projects on time and safely. All job site employees participate and drive safety initiatives such as tool-box talks and operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices for our people.     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: Completion of Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Apprenticeship Program (if applicable)

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Travels to customer premises to install, troubleshoot, and maintain specialty systems (to include, but is not limited to, copper/fiber structured cabling, outside plant, CATV, CCTV, WLAN, fire alarm, access control, security, audio, etc.).
    • Works independently or supervises the installation of specialty systems (crews of 1-2+ individuals) effectively while meeting or beating estimated job costs.
    • Reads and understands Accubid Estimates as a part of the installation and layout of the project.
    • Orders and tracks materials, performs cost projections, and as-built documentation.
    • Creates bill of materials and field labor estimates for change orders.
    • Analyzes upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures, and training needed to complete work in a safe manner.
    • Enforces a safe job site and maintains compliance with company safety, OSHA and customer-specific safety standards.
    • Performs all the job duties of Specialty Systems Apprentice-Level 4.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Two to Four years of progressively complex Payroll processing required.
    • Experience in a multi-state and international payroll environment required
    • In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
    • Extensive knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
    • ERP project based accounting system required, Costpoint preferred
    • Ability to comprehend and review complex payroll work with accuracy while working under time constraints.
    • Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment.
    • The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Must be able to operate office machines, including a computer, copier, fax and 10-key by touch as well as make arithmetic calculations.

     PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • CostPoint experience.
    • Deltek Time & Expense experience.
