  • Responsibilities

    On-site contractor team supporting the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office Headquarters Executive Staff needs a Transportation and Facilities Management Assistant to provide facilities administrative and driving support. Candidates must be customer service oriented, possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates must have driving knowledge of the National Capital Region (NCR). Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, a must. Additional office support duties as required. Active Secret clearance required coming in. Arlington, VA location.

    • Provides driver services for senior program personnel conducting official business in the National Capital Region (NCR) using Government owned vehicle.
    • Must be available to support occasional transportation needs after normal operating hours.
    • Master physical location of travel destinations, potential alternate routes, and emergency contact information.
    • Familiarity with Capitol Hill, Arlington and Military Bases within the National Capital Region (NCR).
    • Create and maintain a library of maps and directions to key locations used by senior leadership for all personnel providing transportation support.
    • Understand and use independent judgment to anticipate changes in routine traffic patterns.
    • Works closely with executive administrative personnel on schedule and transportation requirements.
    • Manages proper operation and maintenance of organization’s facilities and infrastructure.
    • Coordinates duties and activities with Director of Operations Facilities Lead.
    • Assists personnel in drafting facilities related policies and procedures for Government review and approval.
    • Assists in maintaining and update of the facilities continuity binder.
    • Assists in planning and execution of facility maintenance, submits work requests, works with building maintenance.
    • Assists in maintaining and tracking physical property account (furniture, office and IT equipment).
    • Assists IT and Security POCs.
    • Coordinates and monitors work assignments among building technicians, vendors, and contractors.
    • Assists with coordination of meetings, conferences and functions. Coordinates with venue and various support staffs for setup at off-site locations.
    • Provides advice and assistance on facility operations, procedures, space and facilities management.
    • Provides support for handling classified material.

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • MUST HAVE AND MAINTAIN AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Education: High school degree or GED required.
    • Possesses a valid state driver’s license.
    • Possesses a clean driving record (required to provide a current “official” copy from the state DMV/MVA).
    • Consents to periodic and random drug and alcohol testing.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Business Suite Package required.
    • Previous military experience is strongly desired.

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/LEVEL OF EDUCATION

    • High School/Equivalent
    • 2+ to 5 Years
