PERFORMS COLLECTIONS AND ACCOUNTING DUTIES TO INCLUDE PREPARATION OF COLLECTION LETTERS, LETTERS CONFIRMING PAYMENT SCHEDULES, AND OTHER CORRESPONDENCE NECESSARY TO FACILITATE THE COLLECTION OF PAST DUE FUNDS; PREPARES AND MAILS MONTHLY CLIENT STATEMENTS. MAINTAINS A DAILY RECORD OF PAYMENTS RECEIVED AND CLIENT INTERACTIONS IN BILLING SYSTEM.
REVIEWS AGED ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE FOR DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS TO PRIORITIZE CALL LIST.
REVIEWS AND RESPONDS TO CLIENT EMAILS AND CALLS REGARDING COLLECTIONS.
CONFERS WITH CLIENTS BY TELEPHONE, E-MAIL, AND MAIL IN ATTEMPT TO DETERMINE REASON FOR OVERDUE PAYMENT, REVIEWING TERMS OF SALES, SERVICE, OR CREDIT CONTRACT WITH CUSTOMER.
PERFORMS RESEARCH TO RESOLVE CLIENT INQUIRIES AND BRING AGED ACCOUNTS TO RESOLUTION
MONITOR PAYMENT PLANS FOR AGED ACCOUNTS AS NECESSARY.
RECORD INFORMATION ABOUT FINANCIAL STATUS OF CLIENT AND STATUS OF COLLECTION EFFORTS.
PLACES AND REMOVES CLIENTS ON CREDIT HOLD STATUS AS NECESSARY.
EXPERIENCE -
HS DIPLOMA, GED OR RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE; 2-5 YEARS OF COLLECTIONS OR AR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
