    COMPANY PROFILE

    HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting, textiles, leather, and rugs. HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects. 85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.

     

    POSITION PROFILE

    The Business Process Improvement Manager serves as an internal consultant, working across the HOLLY HUNT organization to identify opportunities to drive business and operational efficiencies, designs, plans, and executes process changes, and embeds the new processes and procedures into the organization for long term sustainability. The Manager will partner with leadership across the business to ensure changes to the operation contribute to improvements in customer experience, financial performance, and employee engagement. The Manager will be expected to deliver measurable results while leading the change management efforts to build support and buy-in from employees and leadership teams.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct current-state assessment of business processes and identification of improvement opportunities. Based on assessment, be able to lead, implement, and manage process improvement initiatives.
    • Lead and facilitate groups through process mapping, brainstorming, cause and effect analysis, business impact assessments, and project planning.
    • Actively employ project management skills related to overall project tracking, deliverables management, action item tracking, meeting minutes, team communications, and presentations.
    • Keep stakeholders informed of project status and defined deliverables.
    • Change management advocate with ability to effectively communicate in their role as facilitator, trainer, and coach throughout all levels of the organization.
    • Ensure integration and consistency across multiple quality improvement work streams and initiatives via program status, updates, decision making, and organizational framework.
    • Accountable for enabling the delivery of budgeted benefits at the program level. Ensures efforts produce expected financial results by partnering with business leaders to increasing efficiencies and reducing waste within the organization.
    • Able to solve complex problems. Integrates and interprets data from diverse sources to find solutions for very complex problems.
    • Monitors and controls the changes that were made to improve processes to ensure long term adoption.
    • Works closely with Business partners and is trusted administrator to help to bring innovation and insight.

     

    Required Skills

    • Experience working in manufacturing environment as well as overall corporate business process improvement
    • Proven ability to successfully manage cross functional teams, and implement improvement within an established time frame, then sustain improvements
    • Demonstrated analytical skills, an ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives.
    • Six Sigma Yellow Belt or similar experience preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in terms of being clear, concise, and professional with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
    • Candidate must be able to embrace and lead change, possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to efficiently balance multiple projects
    • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with little to no oversight
    • Strong accountability and follow-through skills
    • Strong analytical/critical thinking

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • 3-5 years of prior experience in process improvement or continuous improvement with a focus on development of business strategy
