    _As the Greeter, you will play a vital role in the customer experience, by serving as a front-line ambassador. You will guide customers through signing in at our queueing station, returning/exchanging equipment, and demonstrating our products and services while providing an exceptional customer experience. _

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • _Provides best-in-class customer service; maintains polished and professional presence _
    • Welcomes customers with a warm and friendly greeting as they enter the store; including a smile, handshake, and opening the door for each customer entering the store
    • Send customers off with a warm and friendly goodbye as they exit the store; including an appreciation statement using their name, and opening the door for each customer
    • Retrieve equipment from customers entering the store, following proper equipment retrieval procedure
    • Ensures sales floor remains well merchandised, clean, and visually appealing at all times
    • Explains and demonstrates products and accessories using our demonstration stations, offering suggestions based on customers’ wants and needs
    • Assists with other duties as requested

    _QUALIFICATIONS _MINIMUM

    • HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience
    • 2 or more years of experience in customer service
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
    • Must have reliable, consistent transportation
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment
    • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory
    • Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet customers and demonstrate products and services; must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day

  • Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

     

    • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance;
    • High School diploma, 8 years experience in US Coast Guard or US Navy C4I system installation integration support, US Coast Guard preferred.
    • Or High School diploma, US Coast Guard or Navy “C” or “A” school 4 years experience in US Coast Guard or US Navy C4I system installation integration support, US Coast Guard preferred.
    • NavSea Cableway and or connector certification desired but not required.
    • Experience with Cable Fabrication (Multi-pin, RF, Network, Power, Fiber, Mil-spec, or serial cable assemblies)

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

     

    • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interface with  personnel and other government agencies at all levels;
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
    • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
    • Must be able to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings;
    • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint). Solid Excel experience is a must;
    • Work in the kneeing position and layout of cable runs that are under false decking.
    • Carry 50lbs. The employee can be lifting 25lbs to 50lbs 5 – 10% of the day, carrying 10 to 40lbs throughout the ship 25 to 50% of the day or pushing and pulling while running cable or installing equipment up to 80% of the day.
    • Be on their feet in a standing, crouching or walking position up to 90% of the day;
    • Ability to work independently;
    • Its desired but not required to have proficiency in operation of warehouse equipment to include pallet jacks and forklifts
    • Ability to Travel between 60% and 75% annually
