QUALIFICATIONS: >Minimum 2 years of related office experience. >Working knowledge of computers and computer software, especially the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps such as Google Sheets. >Ability to handle confidential information. >Ability to work independently and as part of a team. >Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance and the physical ability to do the job. >Experience in Daycare/Preschool setting is an advantage but not a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES: >Duties include administrative support and office management. Responsible for the processing and maintenance of all correspondence, files, electronic and hard copy documents, purchase orders, and related work. >Performs receptionist duties including answering the telephone, screening calls, forwarding calls and/or taking complete messages, and checking voicemail. Meets, greets, and assists parents, students, and visitors. >Maintains a records management system for electronic and printed documents. >Responds to telephone and mail inquiries and provides information on the program and services. >Schedules appointments, and meetings, and maintains a program calendar. >Prepares purchasing, travel, personnel, or related documents for approval. >Assists in organizing and coordinating program-related community events; creates flyers and/or newsletter articles. >Provides administrative and secretarial support for meetings. >Maintains office space. Assists in ordering, care, maintenance, and utilization of school equipment, school supplies, and inventories. >Assists with obtaining and maintaining licenses and permits for the school. >Keeping school social media profiles up to date. >Ability to fill in for absent classroom staff if needed. >Performs related duties as assigned.
