    Description: 

    The Senior Manager of Learning and Development leads the product development, execution, and delivery of tailored solutions that meet client-specific needs. This role requires strategic thinker who can collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, implement, and scale custom solutions that drive business growth. The Senior Manager will oversee project execution, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain operational efficiency while aligning with the company's goals. Internally, the Senior Manager will oversee and manage multiple HR processes as noted below.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • BS/BA in business, education, journalism, computer science or other relevant field or 5+ year experience
    • Innovative and personally engaged with technology, including a strong knowledge of various technology platforms

    • Knowledgeable of design and art principles: hierarchy, composition, typography, color applications

    • Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems

    • Ability to supports in the following applications: Microsoft Office 2016+, Microsoft Windows, LMS, web conferencing, and other technologies

    • Competent in Microsoft web authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise; Office, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.

    • Competence in Adobe design applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, XD, etc.

    • Clear communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

    • Deliver high impact training both in person and virtually online

    • Ability to quickly to learn new technology and concepts

    • Understanding of training and development principles and adult learning theory

    • Provide post training support online, in person, and over the phone in a thorough, professional manner with strong attention to customer service best practices

    • Strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform in a team environment, collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, be flexible with change, and meet deadlines.

    • Experience to work within an agile environment

    • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline for building simulations and simple eLearning courses

    Responsibilities

    • Own the full lifecycle of training events, inclusive of: participating in sales cycle, managing the contract, professional written and verbal communication to multiple parties and stakeholders, coordinating and shipping logistics, documenting the room set up for preparation, customize handouts, coordinate travel, facilitate workshop, and send and report post-survey to stakeholders.

    • Project management of all Custom Solutions events

    • Design and/or modify creative assets, including slide templates, graphics, digital products, video, or an online application

    • Source materials and necessary logistics to facilitate IPL or Virtual Learning

    • Facilitate learning groups through discussions, processes, and trainings using a variety of instructional techniques and following best practices of adult learning theory

    • Prepare and facilitate webinars to broader audiences

    • Manage and monitor the client experience in the LMS to increase client participation, answer questions, approve assignments, and ensure an exceptional user experience

    • Monitor participants and guide them through media-based programs and facilitate information collaborative learning programs

    • Assist in the creation and presentation of the learning curriculum: videos, scripts, etc.

    • Assist in the evaluation of all training materials; analyze reports and provide feedback to team members to support ongoing improvement

    • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, coordinating enrollment, booking travel, and managing logistics

    • Organize all creative collateral and ensure the latest version is visible

    • Provide performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and build trust

    • Establish and manage a performance review cycle for each leader with a direct report

    • Lead internal People projects, including the execution of an onboarding process, the development of performance ladders, updating the Team Member Handbook, administering and reporting on surveys

    • Other duties as assigned
