    Inside Sales Representative




    Reports to: Director, North American Enterprise Sales

    Basic function:

    Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible for managing leads, public course enrollments, networking within assigned accounts, and driving revenue through the sale of Learning Tree’s services.

    This position is designed to prepare the Inside Sales Representative for a successful career in sales by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry, and customers while making valuable contributions to the ongoing success of the business as a full-time employee.

    Upon demonstrating success in the role, there is opportunity to move into successively senior-level sales positions within the company.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Team selling environment with Account Executives to book Public Course enrollments within existing accounts.
    • Generate qualified leads by making outbound B2B calls to prospective customers.
    • Promote assigned Learning Tree campaigns and special offers.
    • Receive and respond to incoming customer calls and emails.
    • Obtain all necessary information from the customer to further the sales process.
    • Document calls in the CRM system to track and manage sales leads.
    • Deliver a high-volume of activities in all formats, as described above, on a daily basis.
    • Participate in sales and Learning Tree training to sharpen your professional knowledge, skills and abilities.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
    • 0 to 2 years of experience in a professional B2B sales environment.
    • Must be goal oriented, self-motivated and have a desire to be a part of a growing team which is energetic, talented, and competitive.
    • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with our customers in a professional manner.
    • Display active listening skills, strong attention to detail, and well organized.

    Competencies:


    Self-motivated, Effective at time-management, competitive, comfortable in a busy, activity based sales environment.
