    JOB SUMMARY:

    Come join our powerhouse team of behavior technicians supporting kids diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD, and others. At Learning and Behavioral Center, LLC we are dedicated to changing the lives of our learners in the best way possible.

    BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Responsible for providing speech, language and oral motor/feeding diagnostic and therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations and standards of practice as set forth by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

    At LBC, Speech-Language Pathologist responsibilities include:

    • Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders. 
    • Responsible for providing services for all speech/language disorders, including AAC devices, autism, sensory processing, CAPD, stuttering, apraxia, written language disorders, and cleft palate. 
    • Specifically working with children diagnosed with Autism or Down's syndrom
    • Scheduling, planning, and administering individualized speech pathology services for clients.
    • Writing evaluation reports and maintaining ongoing documentation of treatment and progress
    • Providing parent/family education
    • Collaborating with the patient's ABA behavior team as well as school educators to provide cohesive treatment

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified and experienced candidates must be dedicated, empathic, and reliable individuals. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills

    • MASTER'S DEGREE IN SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY OR COMMUNICATION DISORDERS FROM AN ACCREDITED SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY PROGRAM.
    • ACTIVE CALIFORNIA STATE LICENSE REQUIRED.
    • CERTIFICATE OF CLINICAL COMPETENCE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY (CCC) REQUIRED.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Active CPR certification preferred.
    • Fluency in American-Sign Language preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35 - $51 per hour
