This position is based out of our Home office in Hudson, Ohio.
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its functionality, reliability, accessibility, and user training. This role also provides administrative and project support for various employee engagement programs from New Hire Orientation through employee development initiatives.
Support the configuration of the LMS from branding to setting up and tailoring the system to align with ForTec's needs
Administer user permissions, roles, learning paths, and training materials
Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS daily operations and end-user support
Direct and oversee the standardization of content creation, uploading, retention, and organization of learning materials
Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to provide support in the development of engaging and effective E-Learning courses
Collaborate with internal IT team members and external LMS vendor to address and resolve user issues, maintain system performance, and ensure the system remains up-to-date and functional
Collaborate with the team to seek feedback to provide continuous improvements to maximize customization options
Generate, analyze, and share reports to uncover broader patterns and trends in data to enhance learning, engagement, and course effectiveness
Support employee engagement initiatives, including but not limited to virtual meeting administration and employee training and development
Participate in and support the execution of New Hire Orientation on a monthly basis
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or related experience
Two (2) years of experience in a training and/or learning and development capacity, utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar platform
Strong analytical skills in assessing problems and developing solutions
Solid technical skills, including troubleshooting
General knowledge of course design and development
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong public speaking and presentation skills in both small and large group settings
