    Learning and Development Coordinator: This position is pending budget approval by Board.

    Role: The Learning and Development Coordinator will help drive workforce learning and development programs in support of leadership development, performance management, staff engagement, work/life balance, and change management. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, will support training and consulting to staff and managers across Grayson College. This will include supporting the development and implementation of learning programs for a variety of professional development and organizational effectiveness topics. The Learning and Development Coordinator will play a support role in promoting and supporting the full-cycle performance review/management program.

    The salary range for this position is $21.48 to $32.22 per hour.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    25% Identify cross-campus training needs and manage/Host all events for training and development including reserving room, coordinating program materials, ordering supplies, arranging IT and AV needs, maintenance needs, supporting guest speakers and trainers, and providing support when programs are in session.

    10% Responsible for tracking training and development enrollment, participation, completion and other program related data.

    10% Manage the Training Portal including course registrations, attendance, edits, inquiries from managers and reporting.

    10% Manages learning and development including evaluations, nominations, and surveys along with preparing reports.

    10% Will be the primary contact and support for all training and develoment pre, during and post-program.

    10% Maintain records to document workshop materials, participant feedback, schedules, vendors, and evaluations associated with program delivery.

    10% Oversees the scheduling and use of event spaces across campus.

    5% Supports Health, Safety and Wellbeing programs.

    5% Supports new employee orientation including scheduling classroom visits, and materials distribution in partnership with the team staff.

    5% Collaborates with other Human Resource teammates for cross functional programs and events.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

    Education: A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

    Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

    Other Skills: Strong level of oral and written communication.

    Physical Requirements: The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.

    Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
