The demand for our brain training services is unprecedented due to the learning loss that occurred over the past several years, combined with the public schools' failure to adequately create proficient readers. We are looking to add to our team of talented brain trainers to train in our Charlottesville center and wherever else we may go to reach our students. We are eagerly looking for fun, seriously smart, and caring people that want to make a difference in people's lives by helping them focus, think more quickly, remember better, learn more easily and read more fluently. Come join the LearningRx brain training team, practice cutting-edge techniques to change the brain and help transform the lives of struggling students from 5yrs old to 95yrs old. Our personal brain trainers work one-on-one in our training center to improve the thinking abilities of their clients. This is NOT the re-teaching of content, like tutoring does, but building new neuropathways in the brain so tutoring is no longer necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

You must be available to work 12-25 hours per week over four weekdays or three weekdays and one weekend day and be willing to commit at least one year to this job. This is not a seasonal job. The best way of thinking about it is more like a year-around, part-time job.

Qualifications and Skills

Pre-requisites:

-BA/BS degree (or actively working on one)

-Strong English phonological processing and phonetics

-Exceptional cognitive abilities (as demonstrated on an initial 45-minute cognitive assessment and in-center activities)

No experience required -- we provide paid certification training.
