Leasing & Investment – Marcus & Millichap Del Mar Marcus & Millichap Del Mar is seeking a motivated and client-focused agent to support both rental leasing and investment opportunities—offering a strong foundation and rewarding commissions as you grow your commercial real estate career. In this dual-focused role, you’ll assist renters in finding the right properties while also identifying and evaluating investment opportunities for clients building their portfolios. A working knowledge of local zoning, neighborhoods, and school districts is key, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both renters and investors. You’ll join a collaborative office environment with structured training, marketing support, and mentorship from experienced agents—designed to help you gain traction in both leasing and investment sales. Responsibilities: • Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure the closing of the deal • Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing • Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts • Showcase properties and their amenities to potential tenants in order to help secure rental contracts • Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances, and highlight properties that meet those expectations Qualifications: • Must live within daily driving distance to the office • Must have working rights in the USA • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices • Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willing to learn new programs and systems • A proven record of sales experience and success Compensation: $160,000 at plan yearly
