Overview Atlas Rental Property is one of the fastest growing property management companies in the Southeast. We currently manage approximately 2000 rental properties in North and Central Alabama as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee with plans to continue expansion in new and adjacent markets. We are seeking a Vendor Maintenance Coordinator to interact with tenants and vendors. This is a fully in-office role that reports to our Birmingham corporate headquarters.
We are looking for capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective tenants. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. As a Leasing Agent, you will become the public face of our property and the key liaison between the management office and our current and prospective renters. We're looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who has previous sales experience and can offer competent service to our renters. You will work with several other leasing agents who cover other territories and answer directly to the leasing manager. Top applicants are proficient multitaskers, organized and have strong people skills! This role requires a sales mentality as well as a candidate that is self-motivated.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer and convert phone calls/leads received (via phone and email) into showings
Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of the units that interest them
driving to and from showings is a requirement of the role that requires reliable transportation
Follow up on scheduled self-showings in specified territory
Collect completed rental applications and supporting documents.
Work with AR and property management on application processing and decisions
present alternative options to tenants when applicable
Once approved, follow up with the tenant to arrange drop-off of security deposit
Meet deposit quota expectations individually and as a team
Maintain a pulse on the movement of properties in assigned territory, lead response, feedback, potential concerns, etc.
Become an expert in assigned territory (specific needs, most desirable locations, etc.)
Manage revolving job duties and be an efficient time manager
Stay informed on active interest and availability (status) of assigned homes

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree or 2 years of relevant experience preferred Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a commissioned based or bonused role
Real estate license is not required upon hire but will obtained as part of training
Compensation:
The compensation package for this role includes a base annual salary of $45,000-$50,000 structured as a draw guarantee, with the option to bonus on each lease signing after meeting draw threshold as well as the potential for quarterly performance bonus after six months in role. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including PTO accrual that begins on day one and 401K with employer contribution after one year of service. We observe eight paid holidays in addition to PTO accrual and we offer paid parental leave after one year.
