    Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join one of our clients team at (1) of their properties in Brooklyn Park, MN (55429). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience within property management. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

    This role will be working with (1) market rate community and 190 units.

    Salary: $22-$23/hour DOQ.

    Schedule: Monday – Friday 830a-5pm, some weekend and evening availability required during peak seasons and projects.

    The leasing agent is responsible for providing sales, marketing and customer service support to the community. This is a sales-oriented position, and the ideal candidate will be highly goal-oriented and love working directly with current and prospective residents in a team-oriented, people-centered environment. The Leasing Agent reports to the Senior Property Manager.

    Responsibilities and Job Duties:

    • Process resident applications and follow up with residents to get necessary paperwork to lease and or renew resident leases.
    • Complete a monthly pricing analysis of competitive buildings to optimize pricing and promotions.
    • Provide residents and applicants with exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations.
    • Report any issues with vacant apartments that would deter the ability to rent.
    • Guide residents to the appropriate staff member to address issues. You may address if the above items are complete.
    • Attend Compliance training in person at corporate office, via video conference or provided by a vendor.
    • Attend regularly held training and meetings as necessary.
    • Participate in resident activities and outreach programs.
    • Be a valuable part of an effective on-site team.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 1 years’ experience in residential property leasing – required.
    • Knowledge of government subsidy programs & Fair Housing Regulations.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Strong computer literacy skills including experience with Yardi or other property management software is strongly preferred.
    • Experience working with individuals experiencing or significantly impacted by mental health, substance use, poverty, long term homelessness and/or trauma is strongly preferred.
    • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this role will be roving between properties.
    • Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
