Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join one of our long-term Clients team at (2) of their properties Fitchburg, WI (53713). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in residential leasing, have strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, customer service skills and attention to detail. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role will be working with (2) communities with 650+ market rate units combined.

Salary: $19-$22/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday: 9am – 6pm and Saturday 10am – 5pm.

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of the property, providing exceptional customer service while driving leasing goals and creating a seamless experience for prospective and current residents. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Leasing & Sales

• Show, lease, and welcome prospective residents to the property.
• Assist in completing market surveys and execute marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
• Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
• Guide residents through move-in, ensuring a smooth experience.

Resident Experience & Service

• Provide superior customer service, responding promptly and professionally to resident inquiries or concerns.
• Process maintenance requests and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain resident files with completeness and accuracy.

Operational & Administrative Performance

• Maintain daily updates of unit availability and community calendars.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure all units meet move-in ready standards.
• Support property management with administrative duties, phone support, and other tasks as needed.
• Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
• Handle resident collections in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 years' experience in residential leasing.
• Strong organizational skills, customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Previous leasing or related sales experience required – strong closing ability.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Yardi, Entrata, EliseAI, Celeri and social media is a bonus.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to work independently and have organization skills.
• Able to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts constructively.
