    Burns Management is a professional real estate management company seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team of talented professionals to support our Apartment Communities located in the Capital Region.

    We are looking for a confident leasing consultant, with a GO GET'EM type attitude. We are a part of an excellent, ever-growing company and seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. We offer competitive wages, an excellent benefits package, and hands-on training. Must be able to work rotating weekends as scheduled, have reliable transportation and be a self-starter. Prior leasing experience preferred.

    Hourly payrate is $18.50 to $22.00 an hour, depending upon experience.

    Commission and Bonus opportunity of 20% annually.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Greet potential residents and build rapport by understanding what type of apartment home they are looking for.

    Coordinate property viewings, follow-ups, and update the CRM.

    Adhere to compliance requirements related to the approval process, lease documents, and Fair Housing.

    Provide excellent customer service to vendors, prospects, and residents.

    Assist in monitoring advertising effectiveness.

    Distribute all company and community-issued notices.

    Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.

    Carry out all duties assigned by supervisor(s) in carrying out the day-to-day responsibilities of managing and maintaining a multi-family property.

    Any other related duties as requested by supervisory council and management. The responsibilities listed above are by no means all-inclusive and can be modified as the supervisory & management team deem fit.

    Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

    Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.

    Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Real Page, Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook

    Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule.

    Two (2) years' experience in previous relevant field is highly preferred.

    Neat, clean, professional throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

    Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.

    Must have reliable transportation and have a clean, valid Driver's license. **
