We are looking for a friendly, results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our team at a full-service real estate company. The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in maintaining high occupancy levels. This position is responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of residential properties.
Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents during property tours
Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
Show available units and highlight community features and amenities
Accurately explain lease terms, pricing, and policies
Assist applicants through the leasing process, from application to move-in
Process rental applications, screen tenants, and prepare lease agreements
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and competitor properties
Follow up with leads to maximize conversion rates
Ensure model apartments and common areas are clean, staged, and ready to show
Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs with the property management team
Assist with marketing efforts, including social media posts, flyers, and resident events
Address resident questions or concerns professionally and promptly
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
1+ year of leasing, customer service, or sales experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, CRM/leasing software)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings
Professional appearance and demeanor
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience with property management software.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices
