    Responsibilities

    Director of Leasing Support

    The Leasing Department Assistant supports the leasing team by processing rental applications and ensuring all applicant documentation is complete and accurate. Responsibilities include running background and credit checks, verifying income and rental history, maintaining applicant records, and communicating application status to prospective tenants. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Answering phone calls and responding to leasing inquiries

    Scheduling property tours and coordinating with prospective tenants

    Assisting with lease preparation and document filing

    Updating property listings on websites and marketing platforms

    Following up with applicants on missing paperwork

    Coordinating move-in and move-out inspections

    Maintaining supply inventory for the leasing office

    Supporting property managers with resident communication and notices

    Data entry and database maintenance for tenant and property records

    Assisting with rent collection or payment processing tasks

    Qualifications

    Proven working experience in property management

    High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Property Management or Real Estate License preferred

    Deep understanding of real estate law and leasing practices

    Up-to-date on the local real estate market

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills

    Experience with property management software preferred
