ROLE:
You're someone that dreams in pencil sketches, wakes up and imagines in RGB, and brings all those ideas to life in CMYK. You know that deadlines are non-negotiable, and you take ownership in every project you touch. You will join our fast-paced marketing team and support creative on a multitude of projects from email campaigns, print collateral, digital and social media, product packaging, and more. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll have a chance to lead our design team to deliver on-time and under budget on a diverse portfolio of projects including but not limited to:
- Design small format print collateral such as flyers, mailers, packaging inserts, and business cards
- Design digital assets such as email blasts, web banners, PowerPoint decks, and assets for social media
- Research products and services to support creative and marketing efforts
- Design technical and instructional collateral like specification sheets, cleaning & care guides, and instruction manuals
- Organize and maintain a vast library of digital assets
- Learn about the printing process from start to finish including quoting, printing, reorders, and quantity management
- Learn about the UX/UI process from brief to launch including customer journey, design, testing, and debugging
THE ESSENTIALS:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace Suite – Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Ability to innovate, think outside the box, and bring creative ideas to the table
- Ability to multi-task, balance several projects, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A clean, luxurious design aesthetic – no fluff
- Self-starter who will seek out opportunities for growth and challenges
- Must be open to coaching, advice, and collaboration from team members and manager
- Self-motivated lifelong-learner – asks questions, finds answers, and shares relevant information with the team
- Understanding of branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media
- Will be required to lift up to 40 lbs with ease
- Some standing, moving, climbing, bending, kneeling, and handling is required
THE NON-ESSENTIALS, BUT IT'D BE NICE
- Some college or technical schooling preferred
- 1+ years experience graphic design preferred
- Aftereffects and animation skills
- Knowledge of photography and videography
- Maya, Blendr, Adobe Dimensions, or other 3D software
- Experience in the pool or furniture industry
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Will be required to lift up to 30 lbs
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing/analyzing data and images, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
- Worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions as work is performed at home or in an office
