    Job Description

    Title: Human Resources Manager

    Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

    Location: Corporate Office

    Basic Function: Human Resources Manager is responsible for administering, programs and practices including planning, organizing, developing, implementing and coordinating general human resource policies.

    Accountability Functions Include:

    Operating and enforcement of legal human resource laws and compliance issues

    Operating and enforcement of hiring / termination processes

    Managing human resource training to all personnel

    Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

    Conducts new hire orientations, processes all Personnel Action Forms and maintains all personnel records.

    Preparing and maintaining company Employee Handbook and training personnel on the use of the handbook.

    Proposes, publishes and administers personnel policies.

    Administers classification program which includes classifying and reclassifying positions and writing job descriptions.

    Provides public information such as verification of employment.

    Responds to and monitors all unemployment claims.

    Coordinates safety programs and keeps OSHA records up to date and compliant.

    Monitors workers’ comp claims and coordinates work between employee and insurance carrier.

    Serves as EEO specialist by maintaining knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures Company compliance.

    Responsible for Company’s compliance with Federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.

    Manages the annual review process including the preparation and administration of wage and salary program.

    Works directly with shop and department managers to assist then in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.

    Conducting and enforcing all termination processes.

    Insure compliance of company policies.

    Support the First Tier Management Team in action and word.

    Support the Company Mission, Vision and Values statements.

    Practice financial responsibility in personal and business life.

    Practice Leadership Point of View and Best Practices.

    Lead by example in work ethic, communication, quality service and attitude.

    Ability to meet all assigned company objectives.

    Handles projects as assigned.

    Experience and Education:

    Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience

    Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

    Essential Physical Requirements:

    Physical ability requiring frequent stooping and bending.

    Physical strength to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently.
