Legal Administrative Assistant (LatAm - Remote) We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and paralegals in delivering exceptional business immigration services. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in immigration law. We are a small and tight-knit, but growing fast and doing great work. If you have some relevant experience or are talented and highly motivated to learn, we will teach you the ins and outs of business immigration and immigration-related federal litigation practice. Responsibilities: • Serve as our active clients’ primary point of contact. • Assist in preparing and organizing immigration documents, including forms and supporting materials. • Maintain and update client files and case management systems. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates. • Schedule appointments and agency interviews. • Conduct basic legal research under attorney supervision. • Ensure all documentation complies with current immigration laws and procedures. • Track and manage deadlines and casework on assigned cases. • Support various administrative tasks and internal projects • Coordinate check requests and billing matters with our administrative team. • Handle incoming and outgoing case correspondence and application packages, and routine inquiries. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in a related field preferred. • Previous experience as a legal assistant or in an administrative role within a law firm is advantageous. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Organized, with strong time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail and deadlines. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • English and Spanish fluency are absolutely required. Compensation: $1,200 - $2,400 monthly depending on experience
