  • Responsibilities

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced law firm and help keep our attorneys, paralegals, and clients on track. In this role, you’ll assist with preparing legal documents, managing correspondence, answering phones and emails, coordinating and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and tracking important deadlines. This is an ideal position for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities: • Be the warm, professional face that greets clients as they arrive • Assemble estate planning binders for client signing meetings • Manage engagement letters and upload files to SharePoint • Keep Lawmatics notes current and accurate for all active cases • Handle all document needs: printing, scanning, emailing, and copying • Prepare packets and materials for estate planning seminars • Coordinate venue logistics and event planning details • Assemble educational resources for client events • Process daily incoming and outgoing mail efficiently • Handle specialized mailings: probate documents, certified mail, and recorded deeds • Maintain proactive, professional communication • Keep office supplies stocked • Maintain copier/Kyocera equipment (paper, toner, clearing jams) • Stay on top of team emails and Slack messages • Coordinate effectively across the team Qualifications: • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Proficient with MS Office products Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
