    The Administrative & Compliance Specialist is a Tucson-based, in-office role that serves as the front-line operational hub of the firm. This position is responsible for managing front desk coverage while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of administrative and procedural legal work that supports attorneys, paralegals, and clients. This role combines client-facing professionalism with behind-the-scenes operational rigor. The Administrative & Compliance Specialist greets clients and visitors, manages incoming communications, and coordinates daily office flow, while also handling calendaring, filings, court communications, document processing, and compliance-related tasks. The role is essential to maintaining a smooth, organized, and dependable office environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable being physically present in the office, enjoys creating order, and understands that excellent front desk experience and meticulous administrative work are both critical to client trust and firm success. This position requires strong attention to detail, calm professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities without sacrificing accuracy. Responsibilities: • Assist with the creation of various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents a needed • Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and letting the team know about upcoming deadlines • Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently • Arrange travel, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events Qualifications: • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • 1-2 years of prior experience in a law firm environment as a secretary or administrative assistant Compensation: $21 - $25 hourly
