Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in daily office operations. This is a part-time, in-office role ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative legal environment. Prior administrative or legal experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and office staff.
Answer phones, greet clients, and handle general inquiries professionally.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
Prepare, proofread, and organize documents and correspondence.
Maintain and update client files and records.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
Manage office supplies and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
Support other office functions as needed.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Prior administrative experience preferred; legal office experience a plus.
High school diploma required; associate’s degree or coursework in business/administration preferred.
Schedule and Compensation
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (part-time schedule; specific hours to be determined).
Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience.
