We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support our attorneys and ensure efficient daily operations. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, managing correspondence, coordinating meetings and travel, and monitoring deadlines. The successful candidate is an attentive reader who notices details, understands written instructions, and can translate complex information into accurate, polished work. Responsibilities: Review and accurately interpret legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and related written materials. Proofread documents for spelling, grammar, formatting, accuracy, and consistency. Prepare, format, edit, and file legal documents and correspondence in accordance with applicable requirements. Coordinate calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court-related schedules. Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date client files. Communicate professionally and effectively with attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties. Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. Perform general administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: A minimum of three (3) years of legal secretary experience is required. No exceptions will be considered. Demonstrated strong reading comprehension skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, understand, and accurately apply legal terminology and detailed written instructions. Strong proofreading, editing, and document review abilities. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office technology. Must demonstrate a typing speed of at least 50 words per minute (WPM). Compensation: $23 - 38 hourly
