Key Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda
- Format court filings including Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs)
- Prepare and file electronic court submissions in state and federal courts
- Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with travel arrangements
- Organize and maintain client and matter files within the firm’s records management system
- Prepare expense reports and assist with administrative support functions
- Maintain CRM data and client contact information
- Process new client file openings and maintain matter tracking information
- Scan, copy, format, and prepare legal documents for distribution and delivery
- Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure seamless team coverage and client service
- Participate in ongoing training to remain current on firm software and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of legal administrative or paralegal experience
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Experience supporting trust & estate litigation and/or corporate real estate practices preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with electronic court filing systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
