Job Title: Data Collection Admin Staff
Location: Onsite at 302 W. Washington St., Indiana Government Center South, Ste. 334, Indianapolis, IN 46204
Interview: In-person only
Duration: 15+ Months
Payrate: $ 23.17/ Hourly on W2, (No Benefits)
Overview:
This role supports the Indiana Department of Correction’s Sex and Violent Offender Registration and Victim Services Division. The staff member will collect and analyze court data, manage records, and ensure accurate data entry related to offender registration.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and retrieve court/legal documents
Analyze and interpret sensitive data
Communicate with law enforcement agencies
Input data into secure web systems
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred or equivalent experience considered)
Knowledge of Indiana Criminal Code and legal documentation
Experience in data collection and entry
Strong communication, organization, and discretion
Ability to work independently and manage complex, sensitive tasks
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with court documents (Triple I’s, affidavits, sentencing reports, etc.)
Research experience
Microsoft Office proficiency
