  • Responsibilities

    We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our firm's estate plan team. You'll draft legal documents such as trusts, deeds, wills, and powers of attorney. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Draft and review legal documents, including trusts, deeds, wills, and powers of attorney, ensuring accuracy and compliance Foster strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact between estate plan clients and the firm Coordinate initial client meetings and serve as the firm's main intake specialist Maintain organized and up-to-date client files in both Smokeball and WealthCounsel Conduct legal research to support document preparation and provide insights to the legal team Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all assignments Collaborate with the estate planning team to develop strategies and solutions tailored to client needs and goals Qualifications: • Strong oral and written communication skills • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred Illinois notary license a plus 2 or more years of law office experience Compensation: $26 - $28 hourly
