    We are seeking a bilingual Legal Assistant highly motivated and detail-oriented with a strong background in family law to join our growing legal team. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, meetings, deadlines and court appearances. • Assist in case preparation by organizing case files, managing evidence, and preparing exhibits for hearings or trials, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals. • Maintaining case files (electronic and paper records). • Managing client communications and customer service. Communicating with clients and external parties on behalf of the legal team. • Assisting with accounting and billing: assist with financial tasks related to legal cases. • Prioritizing tasks and handling conflicts in scheduling. • Greeting clients warmly and escorting them personally to their meeting location, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. • Undertake other administrative duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently. • Qualifications: • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree is a plus. • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a law firm or office environment as a legal assistant, administrative assistant or secretary. • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a sense of empathy. • Deadline-oriented and excellent time management skills. • Web based phone systema and SMS (such as Zoom and Kenect). • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Rocket matter, Monday.com and google sheets. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. • Ability of attention to detail and organizational skills. • Willing to learn new skills to assist with special projects. • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM. • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
