We're looking for a Legal Assistant who takes pride in doing careful, detail-oriented work and genuinely enjoys being a reliable presence for clients navigating some of life's most significant moments. In this role, you'll work closely with our paralegals and attorneys to keep client matters moving, deliver polished correspondence and documents, and serve as a trusted point of contact for current and returning clients. Responsibilities: • Be the reliable point of contact current and returning clients count on — fielding inquiries, providing timely updates, and keeping them informed at every stage of their matter • Gather client information and documents through consistent phone, email, and text follow-up, keeping records accurate and complete in CRM • Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and court or administrative filings using document automation software, with careful attention to proofreading and formatting • Own deadline tracking across court, administrative, filing, and recording obligations — and keep the team ahead of what's coming • Manage internal workflows to ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and on time across multiple practice areas • Coordinate signing meetings, serve as notary, and see estate plans through to final delivery and trust funding • Handle file closure from start to finish — disengagement letters, retainer returns, and CRM updates in both Clio and Lawmatics • Collaborate with the Client Relations Coordinator on intake and onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients • Contribute wherever needed to support a small, high-performing team Qualifications: • Some college preferred high-school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in the legal field, preferably with Trusts and Estates and/or Business and Nonprofit Law • Impeccable attention to detail; • Concise writing skills • Tech-savvy with firm software tools; ability to troubleshoot issues and willingness to learn new tools (this firm primarily uses Apple products) Compensation: $62,000 - $73,500 yearly
