    Dufford Waldeck is seeking several full-time experienced Legal Assistants to support our growing team of paralegals and attorneys in Grand Junction, Colorado. The ideal candidates will be highly dependable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with the paralegal team and our attorneys, with potential for advancement depending on experience and performance. Responsibilities: • Assist Paralegals with case preparation, organizing evidence, drafting legal documents, and maintaining document databases • Manage case calendars and deadlines • Under supervision, draft routine legal documents • Schedule appointments, verify client information, prepare estate planning binders, and other tasks • File Management • Legal Research • Record billable and nonbillable time in Amicus • Maintain case files and documents in an organized manner • Client Relations: phone calls and email correspondence Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS: • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. • Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, Adobe, and DocuSign. • Exceptional spelling and grammar. PREFERRED: • 3+ years' experience working in a law firm. • Associate's degree or higher in a related discipline. • Experience with Amicus Attorney is a plus. Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly
