Legal Assistant– Family Law & Estate Planning Location: Tamarac, FL (In-office) Firm: Law Offices of E.F. Robinson, P.A. The Law Offices of E.F. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and estate planning documents with the use of automated templates • Manage clients, schedule client appointments, and perform complex tasks essential to the client's desired outcomes. • Support attorneys in complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, and child support. • Assist with estate planning services. • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to deliver excellent client outcomes. What We’re Looking For • 1+ years of experience as a law firm assistant, family law, and estate planning experience strongly preferred. • Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to read in order to gather information. • An expert in Microsoft applications, and the ability to learn CRM and systems in a short period of time. • MyCase or similar case management software experience is a plus. Qualifications: • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vital • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software What We’re Looking For • At least one year of experience as an administrative assistant or other position in a law firm • Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills. • Knowledge of Florida family law rules and estate planning procedures. • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. • MyCase or similar case management software experience is a plus. Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
