  • Responsibilities

    A top law firm client is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Atlanta office. This role supports a busy, high-volume litigation team and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving environment.

    We are open to candidates with approximately 2–4+ years of experience, with flexibility for more seasoned professionals. Products liability litigation experience is a plus, but prior experience supporting a busy litigation practice is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys and paralegals
    • Open new matters, run conflict checks, and assist with time entry and billing tasks
    • Manage deadlines and proactively track litigation schedules
    • Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents
    • Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
    • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and internal teams
    • Maintain case files in document management systems and ensure proper organization
    • Process mail, filings, reimbursements, and client-related administrative tasks
    • Support client communications, scheduling, and general case coordination

    Qualifications:

    • 2–4+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm or legal environment (more experience welcome)
    • Experience supporting a high-volume, fast-paced litigation practice required
    • Products liability experience is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and court operations
    • Familiarity with reading pleadings and legal documents
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
    • Experience with tools such as iManage, InTapp, Kofax/Nuance, DocuSign, or similar platforms strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
    • Ability to work occasional extended hours as case demands require
  • Compensation
    $60,000-$80,000 per year
