Job Description
We need an experienced and professional full-time Legal Assistant to join our Ft. Lauderdale office, working primarily with our busy commercial litigation group providing support to the Partner who heads the practice group.
Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant will include:
Skills and Experience:
3+ years experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary preferred, including experience scheduling hearings and e-filing documents with Florida courts. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, and able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, other attorneys and staff. Candidate must have excellent computer skills, and ability to learn document management software.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions thoroughly and carefully. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
